Our Policies

Appointments and Times

Consultations are complimentary and are scheduled only on Sunday afternoons and Tuesday evenings. If you are over 30 minutes late for your appointment you will need to reschedule.

Delivery and Set Up

Delivery is to the Apex/Cary $ Free
Delivery to Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill $30.00
Delivery to other areas will be assessed on an individual basis.

Deposits

A $100.00 nonrefundable deposit is required to secure your wedding date. The remainder of the balance is due ten business days before the wedding.

Cake Plates

Cake plates are available for your use. A refundable security deposit of $150.00 is required and will be refunded when the undamaged cake plate is returned within one week of the wedding.

Cake Separator Plates and Dowels

Separator plates and dowels are property of The Cake Walk. A $50.00 refundable security deposit is required and will be refunded when the dowels and plates are returned within one week of the wedding.

Payment Methods

Payment is by cash, money order or check. All checks can be made payable to The Cake Walk.
