Advice and Tips for Attending The Bridal Show
We are busy getting ready for another January bridal show! Display cakes are being made, samples are being prepared and all of the details are coming together. The bridal show takes alot of work to prepare for, but I find it rewarding to be out of the kitchen talking to prospective brides and grooms. Attending any bridal show can be a resourceful experience, but it can also be really overwhelming. Here are some tips and advice for attending one so that you can get the most out of your time spent and not go home feeling like a deer staring into headlights.
One is to make sure you are wearing comfortable clothes and shows. You will be on your feet standing and walking around for a long peroid of time so forget the stilletos and slip into some comfy kicks.
Bring a large sturdy bag to put any information and samples you collect. We see most brides or grooms look miserable lugging around bags that are bursting at the seams! A backpack or one you can sling over your shoulder is a great choice
Along with the bag, one bride we met last year had a great idea. She put info from vendors she liked on one side of the bag and those she did not like on the other.
