The Wedding Show 2009

Once again we had a fabulous time at the 2009 Wedding Show held at the NC State Fairground in Raleigh this past weekend. We gave out over 1,500 cake samples and had over 250 brides register for cookie favor giveaway! We enjoyed getting to talk to all of the brides - to - be as well as getting to see other vendor booths. Each time we go to the show I am amazed at how creative and how fabulous the booths look. I told my recently engaged girlfriend that this was THE show to go to since everyone goes ALL OUT for this one. We also loved catching up with our fellow area cake bakers/decorators including Lorie from Simply Cakes, Cinda from Cinda’s Creative Cakes and Wayne from Swank Cake Design. It is fun to get to see the work of other wedding cake designers in the area. As always a hats off to The Forever Bridal staff for their hard work and planning as well as the ladies who were able to lend us a had passing out samples. We look forward to booking wedding cakes for 2009 as well as the 2010 show!
